I. Overview
Cortland 's World Scholarship Fund (CWF) is a charitable organization that provides financial assistance to those with autism and their families for educational, recreational and therapeutic programs, camps, and summer programs. Our mission is to provide access to these services and resources that would otherwise not be available due to financial constraints.
II. Goals and Objectives
1. To provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships or grants for educational, recreational and therapeutic programs, camps, and summer programs for individuals with autism and their families.
2. To research, develop, promote, fund-raise for, and execute activities that support our mission statement.
3. To build relationships with organizations in the autism community in order to increase awareness of our fund
III. Criteria and Eligibility
CWF will provide scholarships or grants to individuals with autism and their families for educational, recreational, and therapeutic programs, camps, and summer programs.
In order to qualify for assistance, the following criteria must be met:
1. The individual must be diagnosed with autism, as documented by a qualified medical professional.
2. The individual must be enrolled in an educational, recreational, or therapeutic program, camp, or summer program that is
approved by CWF.
3. The individual and/or their family must demonstrate financial need.
IV. Payment for Programs, Camps, and Summer Programs
CWF will provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships or grants to individuals and/or their families for approved programs, camps, and summer programs.
Financial assistance will be provided on a case-by-case basis, based on the individual's or family's financial need.
